Using VeeScript

These terms apply to the VeeScript app and website, provided by Momentum Apps. By using VeeScript, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app or website. Applicable app-store terms also apply to your download and use of the app.

VeeScript provides audio recording, audio and video import, on-device transcription, note editing, organization, and export. Certain devices also support on-device summaries. Features and availability may change as the app develops.

Permission to record and import

You are responsible for obtaining any permission or consent required to record people, import files, transcribe conversations, and share their contents. Recording and privacy laws vary by location and situation. Use VeeScript only for lawful purposes and respect the rights, privacy, and intellectual property of others.

Do not use the app to unlawfully monitor another person, infringe rights, interfere with systems, distribute malicious material, or attempt unauthorized access.

Your content and app license

You retain ownership of your recordings, notes, and other content. You authorize the processing, storage, synchronization, and sharing you initiate as necessary to provide the app’s features. These terms do not give Momentum Apps ownership of your content or a general right to publish it.

Momentum Apps and its licensors retain rights to the app, website, branding, and other original materials. Subject to these terms, you may use the app for its intended purposes. Third-party software and model components remain subject to their respective licenses. Nothing in these terms restricts rights granted by applicable law or those licenses.

Transcripts and summaries need review

Automated transcription and summaries may contain errors, omissions, incorrect words, or invented details. Speaker names are entered manually. Review results against the original recording before relying on or sharing them. VeeScript does not provide professional advice, certified transcripts, or a guarantee of accuracy, completeness, or suitability for a particular purpose.

Device requirements and third-party services

Core features require a compatible device, sufficient storage, and microphone permission for recording. Speech-model setup requires an internet connection. iCloud sync requires an available Apple Account, iCloud service, and connectivity. Summaries require supported Apple Intelligence hardware and software, with the required models enabled and available.

Apple, model download providers, hosting providers, and services you choose for sharing operate independently under their own terms. Availability, compatibility, download sizes, and performance can vary. You are responsible for any applicable connectivity or third-party service charges.

Data, deletion, and backups

Our Privacy Policy explains the app’s data handling. Keep independent backups or exports of important recordings and notes. Deletion may sync to other devices, and removing local app data or losing access to iCloud may affect your ability to retrieve content. We do not guarantee recovery of deleted or lost files.

Availability and changes

We may improve, modify, or discontinue features or the service. We do not promise uninterrupted availability, error-free operation, or ongoing compatibility with every device and file. Where required by law, we will provide notice of material changes. Any future paid features will disclose their price and applicable purchase terms before you choose to buy them.

Warranties and responsibility

To the extent permitted by applicable law, VeeScript is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. To the extent permitted by law, Momentum Apps is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential losses arising from use of the app, including lost content, lost profits, or reliance on inaccurate transcripts.

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability that cannot legally be excluded or limited, or removes mandatory consumer rights, statutory guarantees, or remedies available to you.

Stopping use and updates to these terms

You may stop using VeeScript at any time. Export important content before deleting the app, and separately manage any iCloud data or backups. Permission to use the app may end if you materially violate these terms, subject to applicable law.

We may revise these terms by posting an updated version and changing the date above. We will provide additional notice of material changes when required. If a provision is unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue to apply to the extent permitted by law.
